The project required the installation of new fire infrastructure within a busy hospitality and events venue while coordinating works alongside other contractors involved in the upgrade.

Key considerations included:

• Designing a fire pump and tank system suitable for the existing site layout
• Ensuring adequate water supply and system performance for hydrant infrastructure
• Delivering installation works within the construction schedule

Following site assessment and consultation with project stakeholders and equipment manufacturers, FWSR Group designed and installed a dedicated fire water storage tank and diesel-driven fire pump system.

The installation included a galvanised steel fire water tank constructed in accordance with AS2419 and AS3500, paired with a diesel fire pump designed to deliver the required system pressure and flow performance.

Works were completed by our Shepparton-based projects team, ensuring safe installation and coordination with other contractors on site.

Ongoing support and compliance

Following commissioning, FWSR Group provided:

• System certification and compliance documentation
• Training for authorised personnel
• Installation in accordance with AS2304 and AS2941 and ongoing servicing as per AS1851-2012

• Dedicated fire water supply supporting site hydrant infrastructure
• Compliant installation in accordance with Australian Standards
• Improved fire protection capability for staff and patrons
