NOTE: The RIIWHS202E unit is currently in a transition period.  This training product has been superseded by RIIWHS202 Enter and work in confined spaces.  FWSR Group will transition delivery to the new unit by 1st September 2027 or earlier.  Statements of Attainment issued for the current unit remain nationally recognised.

This course is designed for existing workers who are already experienced in the use of breathing apparatus and atmospheric monitoring equipment and have a requirement to work in and around confined spaces within their workplace. The course duration and amount of training is based on the learners already having considerable work / job role experience and underpinning knowledge and therefore the course is regarded as an update of skills. If learners are new to this industry area, additional time for training will be provided on a needs basis.

On successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for RIIWHS202E Enter and work in confined spaces. This will provide credit transfer through the national recognition process, into any other VET training involving this unit.  This units could also be used to help gain employment in a job role that includes entry and working into confined spaces.
