This unit, PUAFER008 Confine small emergencies in a facility, provides students with the skills and knowledge required to control small-scale emergencies in a workplace or facility.  Students will be taught how to safely utilise fire extinguishers, fire blankets and fire hose reels in order to effectively control emergency workplace incidents, as well as safe and effective management of chemical spills.

All participants will have the opportunity to use the equipment to build confidence and reinforce correct techniques for applying extinguishing agents.  At all times, participants will be guided by our skilled instructors to ensure safe usage practices are adhered to.

This course is ideal for all people that may be exposed to fire or chemical emergencies within a facility or a workplace.
