All First Aid and CPR courses are tentatively on hold from 21st March 2020 onward following advice received from the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. Our course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
This course applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
1 – 15
- Assess an incident scene
- Conduct DRSABCD
- Provide CPR procedures
- Roll patient into recovery position
- Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) use
Fitness to Participate – the ability the perform CPR unassisted for two (2) minutes on the floor.
Unique Student Identifier (USI) – all participants must hold a USI to receive a certificate for an accredited training course. To create a USI, go to www.usi.gov.au.
Language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skills are required to communicate, complete, undertake written and practical assessment activities. If you have any concerns regarding the LLN requirements, please contact our training department on 03 9394 1288 for assistance.
As we are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) our participants will be awarded a Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment on the successful completion of the training and assessment for this course. The unit of competency covered in this course is:

In line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) must be refreshed annually.
We have public courses scheduled at our facilities, alternatively this course can be trained at your workplace for a group of people.
